    Ya estamos de vuelta!!! Espero que todos hayáis disfrutado de unas buenas fiestas y hayáis empezado el año con fuerzas y mucha ilusión.

Durante las navidades he aprovechado para descubrir y visitar lugares tan geniales como éste. Se trata de Happy Pills, una "farmacia" de caramelos. Una tienda de chucherías con una estética nada convencional, llena de botes y pastilleros incluso creando las lámparas. Las formas son redondeadas y todo es blanco y muy aséptico. Las gominolas, chicles y regalices son los protagonistas y quienes dan color al espacio. Todo está minuciosamente pensado, incluso la entrada, si os fijáis, desde la calle parece un bote para pastillas!!! 

Que genial concepto el de Happy Pills en Bilbao!! Se recomienda automedicarse... :)

    We're back!!! I hope you all enjoyed your holidays and you started the year with lots of energy and thrilled.

During the holidays I discovered and visited great places like this one. It's called Happy Pills!!! A 'pharmacy' of candies. A candy store with an unconventional desigñ, full of bottels making even the lamps. The shapes are rounded and everything is white and very sterile. The jellies, gums and chocolates are the stars and who give color to the space. Everything is carefully thought out, even the entrance, if you look from the street it looks like a bottle of pills!

Such a great concept of Happy Pills in Bilbao! We recommend self-medicating... :)

    Aproveché mi verano para descansar, descansar y mucho! Pero también supe sacarle partido a mi letargo conociendo lugares nuevos, que por suerte en España está lleno y son verdaderamente geniales.

La ciudad de Avilés guarda una maravilla arquitectónica del S.XXI, el Centro Niemeyer (Centro Cultural Internacional Oscar Niemeyer) diseño del brasileño Oscar Niemeyer. Un gran proyecto para albergar todas las artes; música, cine, teatro, danza, gastronomía, exposiciones de arte y fotografía. Todo esto en un complejo de cuatro edificios; La Cúpula, El Auditorio, El Mirador y un edificio de servicios.

En este regalo para la vista que nos dejó Niemeyer se refleja su estilo a la enésima potencia, logrando lo que muy poco consiguen, hacer que la arquitectura sea algo realmente sensual y emotivo.

   During my summer I took a lot of rest, seriously... A lot!! But I also took advantages of my free time to discover new places. Lucky us that we have many of those spaces in Spain and they are awesome!

The town of Avilés, in Asturias in the north of the country, keeps an architectural marvel of this century. It is the 'Centro Niemeyer' (Centro Cultural Internacional Oscar Niemeyer) designed by the Brazilian Oscar Niemeyer. A big project housing all arts; music, cinema, theater, dance, gastronomy, art and photography exhibition. All this in four buildings; La Cúpula, El Auditorio, El Mirador and a service building.

In this gift for the eyes, Niemeyer reflects his style to a high level, as he gets something that just a few can get, he made of the architecture something really sensual and emotional.

    Desde el Mirador puedes admirar la ría y la ciudad además de disfutar de un interiorismo exquisito al igual que sus platos. Tiene una doble función, es el restaurante D'Miranda. Un lugar para experimentar con todos los sentidos.

   From El Mirador (the viewpoint) you can admire the river and the city. Also, you can enjoy an exquisite interior design, just like it food. It has a dual function, it is the restaurant D'Miranda. A place to experience with all your senses.

    Ya se ha terminado la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York y todo está más tranquilo, se notaba en la ciudad la presencia de tantas modelos, famosos, fotógrafos... Afortunada de mí he podido disfrutar del desfile de la marca española DELPOZO.

La colección primavera|verano para el 2014 que DELPOZO presenta es muy primaveral y veraniega, valga la redundancia; vestidos y faldas llenos de flores bordadas, estampadas, cosidas... Camisas y pantalones vaporosos, voluminosos y con muchas transparencias. 

La puesta en escena, fantástica! En un espacio totalmente blanco, un "jardín urbano" con setos y arcos vegetales por los que las modelos se paseaban luciendo los vestidos llenos de color como si cada una de ellas fuera un flor.

Apostando por la moda y el diseño español siempre y donde sea!!

   New York Fashion Week is over and everything is more quiet. You could feel in the City the presence of models, celibrities, photographers... Lucky me that I got to enjoy one of the shows. The famous Spanish brand DELPOZO.

DELPOZO's spring|summer collection 2014 is very 'spring and summer'; dresses and skirts plenty of embroidered printed and sewn flowers. Shirts and gauzy pants, very voluminous and with many transparencies.

The runway, awesome! In a totally white space, a 'urban garden' with plant hedges and arches. The models walked around with colorful dresses like flowers.

I always bet for the Spanish fashion and desigñ!!

CAMPER again!!!

   Unos días en casa siempre vienen bien. Para ver a familia y amigos. Recuperar fuerzas, energías y costumbres, como escribir en el blog. 

   Recargando pilas con mi madre por el centro de la ciudad descubrí ésta nueva entrada. Ya había hecho una para ésta marca en Nueva York y eso me impulsó a entrar para recordar y enseñarle a mi madre cómo las hago. Y dicho y hecho. 

   La tienda de CAMPER en Valencia es obra del diseñador Alfredo Häberli. Un espacio limpio y blanco, como a mí me gustan, donde los zapatos son los protagonistas, sin excesos decorativos pero con mucho ingenio y encanto. Los expositores son triciclos que parecen que han dejado su rastro al recorrer la tienda y en éste se apoyan los zapatos. En el techo, un avión de luz también deja su estela iluminando todo el espacio. 

    CAMPER  siempre sorprende con su geniales interiorismos en cada una de sus cientos de tiendas repartidas por el mundo. Mucho me temo que cada vez que me tope con una, por aquí la veréis...

   It always feels good to go home for some days to visit family and friends. To restore some strength, energy and habits like writing for my blog.

   While charging my batteries walking around the city with my mom, I saw this new store. I already talked about this brand and its store in New York, so that made me come inside to show my mom how I do it.

    The CAMPER store in Valencia is made by the designer Alfredo Häberli. A clean and white space: exactly the way I like shoe stores. This way the shoes are the protagonists, without excesses in the decoration but with wit and charm. The displays are tricycles that seem to have left their traces all around the store and the shoes lay on top of them. On the ceiling, there is a plane made of light that also leaves his trail illuminating the entire space. 

    CAMPER always surprises with its great interior designs in each of its hundreds of stores spread around the world. I'm afraid that every time I walk by one of the stores you will see it here....

    Sencillez y buen diseño no siempre son fáciles de conseguir, pero Häberli sabe como hacerlo.

    Simplicity and good design are not always easy to get, but Häberli knows how to do it.
