...
I don’t know what would be more difficult; doing a good design for huge spaces or doing it for tiny spaces... We should ask Rafael de Cárdenas because after designing this mini-store, he has the key.
A tiny "bookstore" in the East Village of New York, specialized in art books, where you can only accede by going downstairs from the sidewalk. This space can teleport us to another dimension. A dimension full of geometry and color that wraps you. In the store OHWOW, Cárdenas spreads his famous ingenuity subjecting the space to his caprice, doing it flexible and extracting space from nowhere; this way he achieves what would be metaphysically impossible, one more lesson of interior design. It reminds me of the Stoclet Palace, from Josef Hoffmann, but like in a Technicolor dream.
It is smaller than 50 square feet, and the best thing is that it is not overloaded at all, but the opposite...there is more than enough space! In addition, the designer arranged a linear lighting that provides more depth to the place by using white shades. Only with a few hung racks on the wall in black and white, the aquamarine color standing out, he can turn a small corner into a magic place.
This creativity is within the reach of very few people, that can guide us to unknown dimensions and that are capable of excite and waking our sensibility up.

    Protorracionalismo a todo color.
    Protorracionalismo full of colors.

Perfecta geometría simétrica por todos lados.
    Perfect symmetric geometry all over.

    Poco y bien.
    Less is more!
